Are there any particular flowers such as gardenias or even rose scent that is considered extremely popular for soaps and shampoos and other personal care products? |

Some experts believe there is a much lower interest in perfume in Japan than in countries like the US. It might seem surprising considering that the Japanese have a highly sophisticated tradition of incense, along with its unique scent appreciation ritual of kōdō (incense ceremony). One explanation might be that the Japanese believe that applying perfumes directly onto the skin runs counter to the purity stipulations of Shinto, the indigenous faith of the Japanese people. Perfuming the air or the clothes is a more acceptable way of scenting oneself. The most popular scent is described as a combination of vanilla, baby powder and pink roses. |

oh! I love rose and baby powder scent, very sweet and innocent. :) I'm happy to hear they enjoy that too. |
