explanation: Born on January 25, 1938 in Miyagi prefecture. He belongs to the first generation of mangaka after WWII, living together with Fujio Akatsuka and Fujiko Fijio at Tokiwa dormitory in Tokyo and learned manga technique from Osamu Tezuka.
