Welcome our Japanese forums, Loupchien.
Though there is a suffix "yama" which means "mountain" in Japanese, Koriyama is not a mountain but a town in the north of Tokyo (incidentally "kori" means "county"). Please go to town's official page to get more information about Koriyama city.
