Hello, I am a Canadian looking for an English Teaching position in Kyushu. I am TESOL certified, have a passport, and would be willing to start as soon as possible. Teaching children would be preferable, yet I am open to the possibility of teaching adults as well. I would appreciate input from anybody with useful information or contacts in Japan.

Angela, If you are in it for the money and the free time, would like to be able to travel and enjoy yourself then you could apply to any of the larger chain schools. If you are qualified teachers who want some real teaching experience then you should try schools like IBS / IUK / or other medium size schools.

Hello, I am an Australian looking to find a good company to work for in central/southern Kyushu (esp Kagoshima or maybe Kumamoto). I am trying to find a good conversational school where I will be teaching small size classes. As I don't know Japanese I want to work with a company that has at least a few english teachers! I don't know how much this will help my chances but I have a TESOL certificate, and am currently completing the online component. Any advice would be great! Cheers in advance
