Hi my name is Jim Shelley, I am from England, I am writing a novel at the moment and part of it is set on Kyushu, I desperately need some background information about small coastal villiages near Oita. If someone could help me with this I would be so thrilled. Thank You LOVe & Blessings JIM

Hello Jim, welcome to our Japanese forums.
On which villages, are you looking for the information? There are many coastal villages in Oita. Anyway, Oita is a very interesting region to discover with thousand year old Usa shrine with its shinto oral traditions, and a mysterious book, Iwatsufumi written with holly scripts.
