Hello, I would like to talk with someone about traveling to the USA from Japan. I am interested in finding out where people like to travel in the US, and if there is much interest in the New England region, and the areas these travelers come from in Japan. Feel free to send me an email. Thanks! |

I don't think I am in the correct area but maybe you can help me. I am looking for the Japanese symbols for life, love and death. I need to be able to download them for use in computer graphics. Travel in the USA: Depending on the interest of the person, New England offers beautiful landscapes of the mountains and the coast of Cape Cod is quite nice. New York is a beautiful state - it is not just New York City - there is a lot of beautiful country to see. New Hampshire, Vermont, and Maine are very picturesque. Many travelers seem to go south for the warmer weather and tropical surroundings, such as Florida, Louisiana, Texas and the west coast, in particular, southern Calif |

My brother sent a regular email from Japan to me in Canada but the e-mail only showed up as symbols. How am I suppossed to read this? Is their keyboard different? |

If your computer is able to display Japanese characters, check the setting of the brother's mailer. If he is using Outlook Express, ask him to use "JIS" encoding, every time he sends Japanese mails. Default setting of Outlook Express is "Unicode" but it is not the most common setting in Japanese mails. |
