I am looking for some sort of coolsounding samurai "slogan" or from later, some sort of loyalty oath towards the emperor. Im gonna use it on a webpage. For example "loyalty is my honour", the waffen ss code. I would appreciate if you could give me the japanese signs for it too, but thats not necessary. |

perhaps: 命より名を貴ぶ It sort of means "Honor is more important than life" or "I value honor above life." How's that? I think it's pretty good... どう致しまして! You're welcome! |

hey i was wondering, how would you say that?? also, how would you say these two? what do they mean? 生活は楽しんで= (love the life you live?) 愛は苦痛 = (love is painful?) doumo aligato gozaimasu

i don't mean to put this into someone else's thread again, but i can't seem to find the answer (and i haven't been able to get my handle on here yet). is there some way to distinguish between v-stem and c-stem verbs when it's something like hairu or taberu, or do i just have to memorized them individually? |
