http://tinyurl.com/fsmz While it's not as vulgar as you may have hoped it to be, the more vulgar terms were more than two symbols. I hope you haven't forgotten about this in several months. |

Hi everyone! Please help! Still looking for correct translation of three characters. First two characters are "tankou", coal mine (#1418 kanji) and third character is #3402 "setsu", season, time period. Is coal mining season a reasonable translation? Or do the three combined have a slightly different meaning? Please help! Thanks for any and all help! Matjlav, can you help? |

On the internet, Japanese is usually displayed the same way as in English: left to right, then top to bottom However, in many traditional outlets such as newspapers and novels, Japanese is usually read vertically from top to bottom, then right to left. |

Hi i recently got a tattoo of a Kanji symbol. We thought it meant Eternity. There is one way of writing it...where there are 2 symbols. and then there is the symbol on its own that is very similar to a J and a K joined together. The Symbol on its own, does it mean Eternal? and the 2 symbols mean eternity? I only have the symbol on its own and i don't want the meaning to be completely different. I just want to know the exact meaning of these symbols. Thanks for your help. |
