How does one write the word "Japanese" (referring specifically to the Japanese language) in Katakana?

Thank you very much.

Japanese in Japanese

The above word is Japanese language in katakana, but just be aware that the below way is how you would write it properly.

If you mean kanji, hiragana, and katakana by "all 3 styles of Japanese writing"...

From top to bottom:
Ryan (normal)
Janet (normal)
Ryan (kanji)
Janet (kanji)
Ryan (hiragana) (almost never used)
Janet (hiragana) (almost never used)

どう致しまして! You're welcome!

Demon dragon? Never heard of it! Let me try anyway:

悪竜 (evil dragon)

鬼竜 (demonic dragon)

Please remember that I just made it up.

"Demonic dragon" is posted above.

If you can't see it, you need to install East Asian/Japanese language fonts. Installation is free.

Anonymous: Most of the terms you want can be found posted in this forum, if you look carefully.

I don't know about emptiness, so here it is: 空虚

I recently purchased an old picture frame. So much mold, mildew and debris that I didn't realize there was a picture until I took the frame apart to clean it. The picture is a watercolor. I'm sure it's not fine art, but I love it. It has handwritten characters on the back that I believe to be Japanese. I am very anxious to find if they are a date, name of the artist or name of the watercolor. Anybody know who I can send pics to that may be able to help me? Here is a link to the pic - http://server6.uploadit.org/files/number5-text.jpg
