Could any of you wonderful people correct this translated haiku (loss of haiku form isn't important) Ooyuki ga. Bochi no nakimono wa nikai-umorete desu. It ought to mean "Deep snow. The dead in the graveyard are twice-buried." Thank you in advance. |

大雪が。墓地の亡き者は二回埋もれてです。 Close enough. 大雪(Ooyuki) in my dictionary is "Heavy Snow" 墓地の亡き者 (bochi no nakimono) literally "graveyard dead person". 二回埋もれてです(nikai umorete desu) literally "is two times being buried". Very cool haiku! Thanks for sharing it! |
