Hello. My name is Kazuyoshi Ishikawa. I am senior at University of Central Oklahoma and studying Phychology there. I am researching in American people who are studying Japanese (kanji) now. My school has a Japanese class, but since there is no lesson for Kanji (Chinese characters)in that class, I am having a hard time to implement my research. My research has two parts; Kanji pretest and compounds of Kanji. I am thinking about doing a research on whether there is a differnce of ability to guess the meaning of compounds of Kanji by only those characters or by a sentences which contains these compounds between students depending on the time they spend studying Japanese So, if I can ask you to help my reseach project, I will appriciate it so much.
