i need to know how you say things in a sentence in Japanese, and i couldnt find any place online as good as this place to learn,i need to learn atleast alittle bit cause ive got this japanese friend i wanna talk to in thier language but they cant explain it very well at all to me, i know alot of japanese words, just cant say them in sentence, soo please help :] i mean like for example(only an example. not what i want) "Hello, Yosuke, what have you been doing?" i wanna know what words go where and why and all that, k i guess thats it, thanks alot |

Well, for your sentence, it would be something like 今日は、与助、お元気ですか。 (Konnichi wa, Yosuke, ogenki desu ka) It's more of an expression than anything else. Well, anyway, the basic sentence structure is (subject)は(indirect object)に(direct object)を(verb). So, a sentence like "John threw Katie the ball" would be "JohnはKatieにthe ballをthrew". Or, using proper Japanese characters, "ジョーンはケーティに鞠を投げる。 Any other questions, just ask. |
