Hi,
I have two boys from Sapporo, Japan coming to stay with us. When they get to the airport we will have signs but I want to write their names in Japanes so it will be easier for them to find us. Their names are Tadashi and Kohei. Could someone help me?

Xalia,

Japanese names cannot be written so easily into English, because names like "Tadashi" and "Kohei" are written with different combinations of kanji. The selection of which kanji to use depends on the choice made by the parent(s). Common names like "Yoko" have literally thousands of possibilities.

So, my advice to you is to write it in English. TADASHI and KOHEI. It is much easier for them to understand. If you use the wrong characters, they might think you're looking for somebody else.
