Konnichiwa minna-san, I need help with two translation problems. -I know that "Kujikenaikara" translates to "Because I will be never discouraged" I want to know what it would be for only "I will never be discouraged" -Also I want to know what "kimi" translates to. "Watashi (ha) Kujikenaikara!" means "I will never be discouraged". your translation is good!(^^)b but "Kujikenaikara" changes with usage. and If it is a sentence, I can more understand. "kimi" means "you". I am japanese so I am not good at English. sorry. your japanese is good. (^o^)b matane! | ||

I bet you know more about japanese than I do, 32key, but "Watashi (ha) Kujikenaikara" still means "because I will never be discoraged." However, "[Watashi ha] kujikenai" means just "I will never be discouraged." | ||

Hi, Matjlav. (^o^) I am glad to talk with you about Japanese! Although "kara" is usually used as "Because", in grammar, it is right. however, in the words of everyday conversation, a movie, or a drama, an animation... "kara" is used as expression of a decision. For example, "I never meet him!" is "mou kareto awanai kara!" in japanese. it is the same as "watashi ha kare to mou (nidoto) aimasen". I do not know the situation for which "Kujikenaikara" was used, probably it, I think.
