Yeah, I guess it's along the lines of "Would you like to go out to dinner with me on Saturday?" But it litterally means "I think you want to go out to dinner with me on Saturday." | ||

I don't know any romaji translators. You'll just have to learn to convert it into kanji and hiragana yourself. You can try Free Light Japanese, which has lessons on it. Oh yeah, btw, your sentence means: "Do you speak Japanese? I am studying Japanese, and I want to go to Japan. Where do you live?" "I speak Chinese but--" Then, for some crazy reason, it switches into Spanish, and I have weak understanding of spanish. It means: "Happy New Year!" So, you've got "I speak Chinese but Happy New Year!"........ *wierded out* | ||

You got the romaji right. To pronounce it, it should be broken down into: ten-i-no-ji-kan. As for the translation, most people will say it is correct. but a phrase like this can mean slightly different depending on context in which it is used. You cannot necessarily equate "teninojikan" with "shifting time." | ||

I think you are writing it wrong. You wrote: ヒヒの人 (read "hihi no hito," meaning "a monkey person") I think you mean 此の人 (read "kono hito" meaning "this person") | ||
