I am not a native Japanese speaker. I'm an American. My understanding is that there is no kanji for non-Japanese names. You will typically use katakana for that purpose. My name is Jim and I write it in katakana as "ジム" For "Roy", I would type it as "ロイ". For "LoRaX (assuming a long A sound), I would type it as "ロラックス". But, I'd get a second (and a third and a forth) opinion before you have a tatoo done...particularly if you can get a native Japanese speaker. Good luck. -Kichigaisensei |
